A few years ago I started to make Echinocereus hybrids, as an attempt to create new forms which could be grown in the unheated greenhouse. In the hybrids which I have used forms from Echinocereus triglochidiatus-coccineus group it's used as an attempt to make new forms which have their flowers open in bad weather and in the evening, when I'm home from work.
I do unfortunately not have photos of all the parents of my hybrids, but those will be added later when they bloom again this spring..
When a plant is pollinated with pollen from another species of Echinocereus the flower is labeled so I can see which species it is cross pollinated with.
