Arno Sprangers live in the Netherlands, not far from Rotterdam. In his garden he is growing hardy Opuntias and Yuccas, surrounded by bamboos, Trachycarpus, Rhapidophyllum hystrix, Chamaerops humilis, Eucalyptus gunnii, Ficus carica, Fatsia japonica, fuchsias and several Musa basjoo.

Yucca gloriosa is one of his favorites. It's perfectly hardy in his area and resistant to moisture. Other Yuccas in his garden is: Yucca baccata, Yucca glauca, Yucca harrimaniae, Yucca faxoniana X glauca, Yucca aloifolia, Yucca thompsoniana and of course Yucca filamentosa / flaccida. Yucca glauca and Yucca aloifolia seem to be somewhat sensitive to the cold/wet weather conditions in the Netherlands.
