# 834 Yucca filamentosa ssp. concava forma albo-variegata. Photo is from October 19th 1999

I got is as a small rotted cutting from Max Schleipfer's nursery in Neusäss Germany 1997. I haven't seen the flowered yet, the leaves looks like those of Yucca filamentosa. This form is introduced to Europe by Eugen Schleipfer, he has found it in a garden in New Zealand! It's a very slow growing form, so I will probably have to wait quite a few years to see the flowers of this one.

Hardiness:
It's not very hardy, and I have now planted it in the outer edge of one of my protected beds, in which is looks like it is much more happy.

Hybrids made with this form:
BMJ 2011-028 Yucca (glauca x flaccida (1819A) X (filamentosa ssp. concava albo-variegata (834)).

Yucca filamentosa ssp. concava forma albo-variegata.
Pollinated with pollen from Yucca rupicola and it's own pollen.

Probably the first seed pods on this particular variety in cultivation.
